Explore the

Sunshine Coast

Located just an hour north of Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast is known for its pristine beaches, natural beauty, and laid-back atmosphere. The region is internationally recognised as a member of the World Network of Biosphere Reserves by UNESCO and is the only place in Australia where three UNESCO Biospheres sit side-by-side.

The Sunshine Coast offers the perfect mix of coastal charm and outdoor adventure, making it the ideal destination for both work and leisure. As you plan your visit for the 20th Annual OCS Conference, you’ll find plenty to explore, relax, and enjoy around the conference venue in Mooloolaba.

Sunshine Coast is the home of the Kabi Kabi peoples and the Jinibara peoples, the Traditional Custodians of the land, sea and sky country of the region. OCS acknowledge the Kabi Kabi and Jinibara peoples continuing connecting to land, waters, ocean, flora and fauna of the region.

The Sunshine Coast is famous for its relaxed coastal lifestyle, rolling surf, lush hinterland, and charming coastal towns. While you're attending the conference, there’s no shortage of things to do and see in the Sunshine Coast region. Here are some activities and attractions that you won’t want to miss:
